flamingosOur next Flamingos night will be tbc, 5.30pm to 7pm.
Theme: tbc. Our last Flamingos was Easter Party Night. Where we made decorated mini me boiled eggs, to remind us how lovingly, our heavenly Father created us and chatted about Palm Sunday. We then played catch the mini me eggs in the garden and some had a smashing time! Followed by an Easter Egg hunt in the garden and inside the Church. We tried to reach heaven by long jumping but we fell short and looked at what Jesus has done on the cross to bridge the gap to heaven for us. rainbow readersVolunteers from the Churches meet on Tuesdays at 1pm for half an hour to hear Keystage 2 pupils read. The team is rapidly growing and it is a delight to meet the children and to see how their reading is progressing.
easter experienceWorking together with the Churches in Craven Arms we have recently put on our bi-annual Easter Experience for pupils in year 5 and 6 of the local primary schools. This year we were joined by Stokesay, Wistanstow, Clunbury, Newcastle on Clun and Bucknell Primary Schools. In four venues around the town, the Churches transformed their rooms, plus the Stokesay School hall, into six different aspects of Holy Week for an interactive experience.
